FAIRIESfairies

This shows the trails of sparkles shed by four moving fairies. The first and third fairies shed bluish green sparkles; the second and fourth buff-coloured ones.

Each fairy and all the sparkles it sheds accelerate towards one of the other fairies with a constant magnitude of acceleration:

  • the first fairy and the sparkles it sheds accelerate towards the second fairy,
  • the second fairy and the sparkles it sheds accelerate towards the third fairy,
  • the third fairy and the sparkles it sheds accelerate towards the fourth fairy
  • and the fourth fairy and the sparkles it sheds accelerate towards the first fairy.

Each sparkle begins bright and fades through blacker and blacker hues until it vanishes.
